Mon Repos is a beautifully furnished 4-bedroom vacation villa located very near to The Baths National Park, Virgin Gorda’s famous tourist destination. From the villa, guests have the luxury of enjoying sunrise views over the Atlantic Ocean and spectacular sunsets over the Caribbean Sea. From its spacious pool deck, enjoy the view of Sir Francis Drake Channel with distant islands and passing boats.

 

Location 

On Virgin Gorda’s southern tip is The Baths National Park, a wonder of geographical structures. The massive boulders create hidden caves and warm ocean pools where land meets the sea. Well set back from the main road, on over an acre of lush hillside, in a low density estate is a private and secluded villa, Mon Repos. The villa accesses amazing beaches within a few minutes’ walk. Choose among pristine blue beaches including: Devil’s Bay, Spring Bay, Little Trunk Bay or Valley Trunk all within a few minutes’ walk to Mon Repos.

 

The Villa is masterfully built on two levels and incorporate the massive boulders that are native to the area. On the top floor is the exquisitely furnished Great Room that includes a modern kitchen, elegant dining room and brightly colored drawing room. Also on the top floor are three-bedroom suites, two luxurious bathrooms and a media room. The Great Room leads to an east facing porch that enjoys bright sunrise views over the sparking Atlantic Ocean. On the opposite side off the Great Room is the swimming pool deck with the west facing pool that is perfectly warmed by the mid-day and afternoon sun. From the pool deck guests enjoy flaming sunsets in the west.

The lower level of Mon Repos is a luxurious one-bedroom apartment that provides privacy and independence from the rest of the villa.

 

The Pool The spacious west-facing terrace includes an oval-shaped swimming pool, plenty of room for lounge chairs, and a covered area with an outdoor dining table and grill. Neutral colored stone tiles cover the pool terrace making it warm and exotic. The most magnificent sunset views are an everyday feature from the pool deck. After sunset, the absence of any nearby buildings with artificial light means guests can enjoy the starriest night skies.

 

Bedrooms Mon Repos has a total of four bedrooms and three bathrooms spread over the two storeys. On the upper level of Mon Repos are three luxuriously air-conditioned bedrooms with king-sized beds. Separated by the Great Room, each bedroom affords privacy, and relaxation on a private porch. Exquisite linens, plush mattresses, Smart TVs, and soft warm lighting create a perfect escape in each suite.  On the lower level the bedroom features a massive boulder on which the king-sized bed sits. This exotic feature is a constant fascination among guests who are thrilled by the creative incorporation of nature in the design of the suite.

 

Lower Level Apartment With its private entrance just of the car park, the lower level apartment enjoys independence from the upper dwelling of Mon Repos. While the villa rents to only one party at a time, the lower-level apartment provides a couple, or small family privacy and independence from the rest of the group. A full kitchen with all conveniences, dining and drawing room lead to the spacious bedroom that incorporates a massive boulder in the floor, on which sits the plush king-sized bed. Fully air-conditioned this charming apartment provides peaceful relaxation.
